Medical Disclaimer

Published on 06.07.2026

Purpose

This disclaimer applies to Aurelia Private Health (also referred to as “Aurelia”, “we”, “our”) in relation to AureliaPrivateHealth.com, its educational content, downloadable resources, newsletters, social media channels, digital communications, complimentary strategy sessions and related services.

Physician-Led Preventative Medicine

Aurelia Private Health is a physician-led concierge preventative medicine practice focused on longitudinal health intelligence, evidence-informed risk reduction, executive health assessments and personalised preventative strategies. Clinical decisions are made by appropriately registered healthcare practitioners and not by automated systems.

Educational Content Only

All website content is provided for general educational and informational purposes. It is not intended to constitute personalised medical advice, diagnosis or treatment and should not replace consultation with an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

No Doctor-Patient Relationship

Viewing the website, subscribing to communications, joining the waitlist, downloading resources or attending a complimentary strategy session does not, by itself, establish a doctor-patient relationship. A clinical relationship arises only after Aurelia accepts an individual for care and the required clinical and contractual documentation has been completed.

Emergencies

The website and its communications are not monitored for emergency purposes. Individuals experiencing a medical emergency should immediately contact local emergency services or attend the nearest emergency department.

Aurelia Age™️ Framework

The Aurelia Age™️ Framework is a physician-supervised clinical methodology that integrates longitudinal health information, including biomarkers, lifestyle factors and other relevant clinical information to support preventative care discussions. It is not a standalone diagnostic test, does not guarantee health outcomes, does not predict lifespan and must always be interpreted within the context of a comprehensive clinical assessment.

Laboratory, Imaging and Wearable Data

Laboratory results, imaging studies and data from wearable devices may contribute to clinical decision-making but have inherent limitations. They should not be interpreted in isolation and may require confirmation, repeat testing or additional assessment.

Telemedicine

Remote consultations have recognised limitations compared with in-person assessment. Aurelia may recommend face-to-face evaluation, referral or emergency assessment where clinically appropriate.

Specialist Coordination

Aurelia may coordinate care with independent specialists, laboratories, imaging providers and allied health professionals. Those providers remain independently responsible for the services they provide and their professional opinions.

Website Availability

Reasonable efforts are made to maintain accurate and current information. However, medical knowledge evolves and no warranty is given that website content is complete, current or error-free at all times.

Privacy and Confidentiality

Personal information is handled in accordance with Aurelia's Privacy Policy and applicable South African law, including POPIA. Confidential health information is processed only for legitimate clinical, administrative or legal purposes.

Intellectual Property

The Aurelia Private Health name, branding, Age with Intention™️, Aurelia Age™️ Framework and associated materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Unauthorised reproduction or commercial use is prohibited.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Aurelia disclaims liability for indirect, consequential or economic losses arising solely from reliance on website content. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits liability where exclusion is prohibited by law, including applicable statutory rights or professional obligations.

Governing Law

This disclaimer is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Updates

Aurelia may revise this disclaimer periodically to reflect changes in clinical practice, technology or legal requirements.
